January escaped us so we have quite a few posts coming your way!
It goes without saying that spring through the fall is the hardest time to get away as wedding photographers. We decided in 2010 that we would have pre-holiday celebrations with our families and friends so we could spend the holidays wherever we wanted and have enough time to fully enjoy our time away.
Scott and I love to travel and we were absolutely overjoyed that we were able to carve out an entire three weeks to travel to Europe for the holiday.
Since our work is such a big part of our lives, people in the industry are some of our closest friends and are like family. Luckily, our schedules coincided and we were able to travel with our friends and talented cinematographers, Steve & Ton-Essa of Loudbyte Cinematography for a whirlwind European Holiday.
We started our journey in Amsterdam, then Brussels, Paris, Prague and back to Amsterdam.

Carasco Photography recently collaborated with award winning cinematographers, Loudbyte Cinematography on a multi-day photo-film creative to promote the 3rd annual Brides, Bubbles and Bliss event taking place at the Bridgeport Art Center on March 7, 2012.

We have a lot of fun shooting during the holiday season especially in the evening when the holiday lights are twinkling in the background. We took Jamie and Dan around State Street for trip down memory lane as they walked alongside the holiday storefronts formerly bedecked by Marshall Fields and Company.
After the shoot, we are even more excited about working with them on their wedding this summer!

So many beautiful touches to Jordan and Jay’s wedding at the Drake Hotel! Jordan got ready in the same suite that Princess Diana stayed in when she was in Chicago and looked just as regal in her stunning wedding gown.
Great Life Music got the party started early in the reception with an early dance set and kept the party going with Lady Gaga to Katy Perry.

Rachel and John wanted an intimate celebration with great friends, good food and a fabulous band.
Going against the grain, Rachel let her bridemaids to choose their own dresses (regardless of color) and tied everything together with beautiful floral by Stemline Creative.
Michelle Durpetti Events kept the day on track and did a fantastic job of coordinating all of the days’ logistics. The end result=a beautiful wedding and a happy bride and groom.
