THE TASTING ROOM 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY PARTY
The Tasting Room Room just celebrated 10 years of business. Steps away from Oprah Winfrey’s studio, this West Loop lounge has one of the most extensive wine lists in Chicago with hundreds of wines by the glass, signature cocktails, craft brews and a delectable menu created by Chef Marc Kuckenbecker.
Comfort and ambiance is certainly a defining element of The Tasting Room.With the amazing view of the Chicago skyline and ambient lighting, you can see why Cosmopolitan Magazine voted The Tasting Room “One of the Sexiest Places on Earth.”
Local media, sommeliers, wine enthusiasts and dedicated patrons were in attendance. The band, Quiet Storm kept guests moving throughout the night with Sade, Stevie Wonder, Patti LaBelle and more.

The Stritch School of Medicine |International Service Immersion (ISI)
The Stritch School of Medicine’s ISI program began over 16 years ago with three students and continues to offer medical service to disenfranchised people around the world. Students join forces with local medical providers in areas such as Zambia, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Haiti and Honduras. The students immerge themselves in the culture, seek to understand the perspective of the community and offer medical service and education including elementary hygiene, nutrition and preventative health.
We were happy to support such a worthy cause and offered a lifestyle engagement shoot for the ISI auction.
The bidders for the session were Lonnie and Betsy. They got engaged at Millennium Park and wanted to incorporate their nostalgia for that day. Betsy just finished up with the GMAT when Lonnie popped the question. Needless to say, she had a lot of news for her friends and family that day.
We took them to the exact spot where Betsy said yes. We’ll let you guess which one from the pics below. Here are a few highlights from the shoot:
