Milwaukee Wedding
Ceremony: Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum
Reception: The Pfister Hotel
Planners: White Box of Wedding Design
Music: Bill Sargent Band

Every now and then we have a couple who would prefer that their names not be used online. In honor of their privacy, we are only featuring environmental images that do not reveal their identity.

This New York couple executed impeccable taste from beginning to end. Their guest list which included a political figure or two was paired down to closest friends and family. A light mist of rain during their ceremony made for a romantic feel at the Villa Terrace.

Monica Rae Gill, owner and lead consultant of the White Box of Wedding Design and her associate planner, Victoria offered amazing wedding day management services with a contemporary flair. If you are planning a wedding in the Milwaukee area, we HIGHLY recommend their services.

KERI & DAVE

Ceremony: St. Josephat’s
Reception: Evanston Golf Club
Hotel: The Belden Stratford

We split our team up for Keri & Dave’s wedding. Scott met Keri at her parent’s house to take preparation pics while our associate, Ryan and I met Dave at the Belden Stratford Hotel in Lincoln Park for preparation and formal portraits with the groomsmen. Having three shooters available can really alleviate time constraints the day of the wedding and allows for all around coverage.

There are times when details need to be reconfirmed and while I’m communicating with the wedding planner or dj, Scott and our associate are shooting candid moments unfold.

I just so happened to catch these little gals snoozing on the couch in the ladies’…

LAURA & MARK

Laura & Mark had their outdoor ceremony and reception at The Hyatt Lodge in Oak Brook. The campus really has a lot to offer aesthetically from the natural landscape to black squirrels running around (I don’t know why I’m so fascinated by black and red squirrels, or squirrels in general–but I am…Selah).

Back to Laura & Mark…

It was actually kind of exhilarating trying to keep these two from seeing each other before the ceremony. The bridal room was across the hall from where the groom was getting ready. It reminded us of a police escort for a dignitary as I ran ahead to double-check our ‘clearance.’

After selecting her colors, Laura gave her bridesmaids the option to pick their dress style. And all of them were very urban chic! One of the bridesmaids gave her dress an ultramodern twist by incorporating a tan belt.

I love watching how wedding fashion evolves…truly remarkable and fun!

Congrats Laura & Mark!

ERIKA & RYAN

Ceremony & Reception: Meson Sabika

Erika and Ryan took advantage of the extended summer and held their ceremony outdoors. Their reception as inside the Mansion at Meson Sabika.

The couple chose to not see each other until right before the ceremony. We were able to sneak in a couple of shots before guests started to trickle in.

Here a few of our favorite pics:

Congrats Erika & Ryan!
