Veil or No Veil
It’s a new day for the modern bride. Some soon-to-weds are shunning the long gown and skipping the cake at the reception. Regardless of how you feel about tradition, I have to admit that there is something alluring about a bride wearing a veil.
Take a look at the beautiful birdcage veil worn by Cindy during a portrait session. Vintage, chic, and never out of style, Silver Moon Vintage has beautiful accessories and bridal collections that can steer you toward your favorite era and satisfy your taste for one-of-kind, well made pieces. I love the combination of the 20s veil and the edgy gown (by Jessica Catherine Designs). I’ll be posting more images from our fashion bridal shoots soon that feature more of Silver Moon Vintage’s stunning accessories. Stay tuned~
Special thanks to Megan Dodge for hair and makeup and Matt Buckman of I Do Films for video (check back soon for clips from our shoot!)
We’ve had the chance to shoot around the Chicago Botanical Gardens several times and find that there are countless photo opportunities around the 385 acres of woods, gardens, and natural landscape. No matter the season, the Garden is a beautiful location for weddings, engagement and bridal sessions.
Here are some of our favorite pics from our shoot with Theresa.

This is another dress design by Jessica Catherine Designs. Elegance with a contemporary flair, this gown is complimented both by classic and eclectic accessories.

This veil from Silver Moon Vintage is absolutely stunning. I love the framing of the palms around Theresa. It gives the photo a vintage feel.
