When we first met Seah over a year ago for the pre-consultation, we knew that this wedding would be elegant and delightful from beginning to end. Seah and Rick decided not to see each other before the wedding so Scott and I separated for the pre-ceremony pics.
Christina Mendoza-Terpstra did an amazing job communicating the timeline and details in advance. She and Robin were always in the right place at the right time and anticipated all of the wedding day needs (which allowed us to focus on documenting the day rather than thumbing through schedules).
Here are a few highlights of the wedding day:
Sonia works her magic on Seah lips. She has such a talent for matching skin tones and emphasizing a bride’s natural beauty. And Seah’s makeup looked fabulous ALL night.
Seah dons a couture gown from Vwidon. I love capturing that nervous excitement right when the bride gets in her wedding gown. It’s as if this one final touch is a milestone for the day.
She looks absolutely stunning.
At Rick’s place…
We had to capture some of this beautiful architecture of the Chicago History Museum. Beyond the aesthetic quality of the interior at CHM, Becky Cowden (Events Manager at CHM) and Food For Thought Catering made sure that the event unfolded smoothly and as planned.
The bridesmaids’ bouquets by Fragrant Design were so vibrant.
Congratulations Seah & Rick! More pics to come. Be sure to have your guests pre-register with Pictage (your e-session images are available there and the wedding pics will be available after post-production).

RENEE & DUANE–REHEARSAL DINNER
Renee & Duane decided to have a New York vs. Chicago theme for their rehearsal dinner at their South Loop high rise. From what I heard, the vote was about 50/50. Between our deep dish and Goose Island, Chicago definitely had a fighting chance at being numero uno.
Stay tuned for images from their wedding at the Armour House.
Congratulations Renee & Duane! Your friends and family may pre-register for your gallery at Pictage.

Seah preparing for the Korean ceremony.
Practicing the mutual bow. (this is not easy to do in the shoes Seah’s wearing…)
Seah loved this scenario and wanted to replicate it. We decided to use the available light and capture the way these two appeared to the natural eye in the moment.
Cage & Aquarium kept guests of all ages moving throughout the night.
Congratulations again Seah & Rick! Images will be posted on Pictage.
