CHRIS & KRISTA

Ceremony: St. Andrew’s Greek Orthodox Church
Reception: The Grove at the Redfield Estate
DJ: Spencer with Style Matters

We had such a great time hanging out with Krista and Chris during their engagement shoot last month. Our clients tell us that the e-session is great icebreaker and it makes such a difference the day of the wedding.

When we arrived, the girls were in a bit of a frenzy. Excited hands cross over each other passing lip gloss, mascara, and safety pins. In the midst of the finishing touches, the stained glass of the church castes an iridescent glow on Krista and makes for an ultra glam shot. Check out their gallery on our website.

After the ceremony, the nerves settle and Krista and Chris are all about enjoying their day to the fullest.

Spencer from Style Matters worked his musical magic incorporating traditional Greek music to get the family on the dance floor at National Historic Landmark, the Grove at the Redfield Estate in Glenview.

Congratulations Chris and Krista!

JENICA & JEFF

Reception: Museum of Contemporary Art
Videography: Ben Mahoney of Ben Mahoney Productions
Makeup and Hair: Sonia Roselli and Livia Caporal of Sonia Roselli Esthetique

Jenica and Jeff’s wedding was such a treat for us. We met Jenica at her parents’ house for a traditional Chinese tea ceremony before heading to Jeff’s parents’ house for another tea ceremony with his family (check out more images from their wedding on our website).

We had the opportunity to work with talented videographer, Ben of Ben Mahoney Productions. He’s so fun and easy to work with.

Jenica’s dress was incredibly beautiful…we couldn’t photograph it enough!!

ALLIE & JOSH
Lifestyle E-Session

Something about Humboldt Park and dogs…we’ve photographed three different couples around the Boathouse and every one of them had a dog. We have two dogs (Shep and Tigger) so we always have fun incorporating pets into couples’ photographs.

Allie & Josh were initially dreading their e-session. They said that they would rather have guns pointed at them than cameras ; ) Within a few minutes, they were at ease and they totally forgot that the camera was on them.

We’re looking forward to their wedding next month!
