We recently shot Claudia and Leandro’s wedding this fall and had a blast throughout the entire day. Scott and I met Claudia at her mother’s home for the preparation pics and headed back to their church in Pilsen. They had a mariachi band during the ceremony and an amazing mambo orchestra during the reception at the Hotel Intercontinental. This couple planned their day exactly the way they wanted it while showing their family and friends a great time.
We had the opportunity to work with fun and talented, Ben Mahoney of BMP . Here is a slideshow with some of the highlights from the wedding day. Of course, there will be many more to come.

It’s hard to believe that there could have been anything but The Wit on State and Lake. From the entrance, to the lobby and throughout the entire space, you will continue to be inspired by its remarkable design and clever homage to visionaries of our time. Chicago brides-to-be could not ask for a better venue especially in the cooler months as there are countless photo opportunities in this space.

We began the shoot in the Spa at The Wit Hotel for hair and makeup. Eunita Carter of ecc Artistry styled Lyric out with a 40s updo.

Giselle Ghofrani (Senior Designer/Owner of Giselle Chicago) and Kari Garza (Assistant Designer of Giselle Chicago) making final touches to the gown.

The suit was tailor made for Josh by SITTAR by Gibeon Tolbert.
Kim and Sara of Topiarius are busy putting together the huppah. They provided the lovely floral arrangements for this fashion bridal shoot.
I love the tropical influences in this beautiful bouquet by Topiarius.

Topiarius created tropical bouquets that match The Wit’s funky spirit. Kim and Sara were incredible to work with and made sure that they had a good feel for what the space, gown and overall look of the shoot.
